About Us
We are a family home in Wiltshire UK, surrounded by beautiful countryside that provides scenic walks for your dog whilst on their stay here.
Our resident sausage is Nellie, who has the whole house wrapped around her paw - she is doted on by myself, my partner & our two children.
Our home is set up especially for Dachshunds, including ramps and steps to keep their sensitive backs as safe as possible - we even have an outdoor play area with accessible play equipment for them to enjoy!

We are licenced by Wiltshire Council (LC202501-155709), insured, and trained in dog first aid, so you can feel confident that your pride & joy is in good hands.

Boarding
We want your dog to feel as relaxed as possible - you’ll find no kennels or pens here!
£35.00 per night (up to 24hrs) - this includes two daily walks of at least 20 minutes, accompanied by lots of garden play, and indoor enrichment.
£25.00 a night for additional dogs from the same household.
Dates between 23rd December - 2nd January are charged at £70.00 per night.
Dachshund Daycare

Perfect to break up the day for your dachshunds whilst you’re working, running errands or just to socialise them!
​
We cover Westbury, Warminster and Trowbridge (including the villages in between) for day care.
All pick ups are between 8:00 - 9:00 and all drop offs are between 14:00 – 15:00, our collection service is included in the daily rate. Pick ups and drop offs are done in reverse, so the last to be picked up in the morning, will be the last to be dropped off in the afternoon.

We operate a pick up and drop off service only – due to our location, we cannot accommodate owner drop offs for day care, as there is not enough parking at the property and the road can get very congested at these times of day.
​
Their time with us will include a walk, enrichment time in our Little Legs play area, and their favourite – lots of sofa cuddles and attention!

£20.00 per day, this includes collection and drop off.
Getting ready for your stay!
We’ll provide the poo bags & cuddles, but please bring the below with you…
- Your dog’s own food
- Your dog’s harness/collar for walks
- Any coats or fleeces you feel your dog may need on walks
We have ample beds & bowls, so these are not needed - if you think your dog would find comfort in the smell of home, we'd recommend a blanket instead of a bed where possible please.

The boring bit…
Some house rules to make sure everyone gets the best experience.

We are a family home, and so we do ask that any dogs staying are family friendly - our children are very gentle with the dogs, and have been brought up around this sassy little breed (the house is an adult environment only during day care hours).

Please ensure your dog is up to date with their vaccinations, flea & worming treatments prior to their arrival.

Saturday & Sunday drop offs/collections are between 08:00 - 09:30 and then 17:00 - 18:30 - weekdays we can be more flexible as there are usually less drop offs/collections in the week.

All dogs will need to have an overnight trail stay before longer stays, this is charged at the discounted rate of £30.00 for that first night only.

We take a 25% non-refundable deposit upon booking, until this is paid your stay is not confirmed - the remaining balance is due a week before your arrival.

We cannot take female dachshunds in whilst they're in season.

We do accept unneutered males subject to a successful trial visit, and with continued behaviour monitoring - however for obvious reasons, never at the same time as any unneutered females, so we sometimes have less availability for unneutered males (always best to book as soon as possible!).

We know that some Dachshunds of course live with other breeds - we can sometimes accept other small breeds that come from the same household as the boarding Dachshund.
